This website is operated by Colour Contrast Painting & Decorating Pty Ltd (ABN 78 126 720 107) trading as Red Unicorn Marketing. This policy explains what personal information I collect through the website, how I use it, and your rights under Australian privacy law.
What information I collect
When you fill out the contact form on this site, you provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company (optional)
- The contents of your message
I don’t collect any other personal information through the website. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels.
How I use your information
I use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry and continue a conversation about working together, if that’s the next step. I may send follow-up information by email if I think it’s relevant to your situation.
I don’t use your information for marketing emails, newsletters, or any other communication unless you specifically opt in. I don’t sell your information. I don’t share it with anyone beyond the services listed below.
Who handles your information
Two third-party services touch your information as part of the contact process:
- Netlify hosts this website. When you submit the contact form, Netlify receives the data, sends an email notification to my inbox, and stores a copy of the submission in their dashboard. Netlify is a US-based company and is GDPR/CCPA compliant. See their privacy notice.
- Microsoft hosts my business email (Outlook 365). Once the notification reaches my inbox, it sits within Microsoft’s email infrastructure. See their privacy statement.
That’s the full list. There is no CRM, no marketing automation, no scheduling tool, and no other third-party platform handling your information.
How long I keep your information
I keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and continue a working conversation. If we don’t engage in further communication for 12 months, I’ll delete it. You can request deletion at any time by emailing me.
Your rights under Australian privacy law
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information I hold about you
- Ask me to correct or update it
- Ask me to delete it
- Make a complaint if you believe I’ve handled your information improperly

If I make material changes to this policy, I’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. For minor changes (clarifications, formatting, typo fixes), the date won’t change.
